Information Evening with Northumberland Council

Our fostering events are a relaxed way to chat with our friendly team, meet experienced foster carers, and hear real stories about fostering life. While attending isn't compulsory, many carers say it helped them understand how fostering could fit their family and home. Join us to chat with our foster carers and learn how you can help local children and young people through foster care, including:

•the different foster care roles to suit you
•what fostering is really all about
•the application and training process
•the support, pay and resources we offer
•the positive effects for both you and the children you care for
There is no pressure to sign up to start the application process - or even to ask questions. If you do have questions, we aim to answer them to help you look at your options moving forward.

With a focus on fostering older teens, children seeking sanctuary in Northumberland as well as other foster care roles where you can continue to work.`
