In person event with Northumberland County Council

Our in-person events are held by our local authority partners in key locations for their residents. This 'Is fostering for me?' event with partner Northumberland County Council lasts an hour to an hour and a half and is aimed at anyone interested in fostering. The events are perfect for those who want to hear about a little life as a foster carer within their local authority. As well as covering the basics about foster care, what it involves and the application process, sessions will include information about the support packages available to carers in the area. The team also regularly welcome guest speakers including foster carers and care experiences young people who share their own experiences. We would ask you to book your space at this event where possible, but drop-ins will be welcome on the day.
